Marathon Athletes Sculpture

      Scenery of Island Ring Along the beach:Fresh air, blue sky and sea, graceful scenes along the road, makes Island Ring the most beautiful road in Xiamen.When it comes to island ring road of Xiamen ,I  had to mention those athletes bronze sculpture, consisting of 99 Marathon athletes and cheerleaders of cast bronze sculpture,they were installed in 2005 .They  have  become one of favorite scenery for tourists. The community of these bronze sculptures are located  in huandao road, from “one country, two systems”wall  to Exhibition Centre in the coastal side of the green belt.The vibrant attitude of athletes will be solidified in this most beautiful of on the track ...
      It is learnt that each sculpture is about 2 meters high, casting copper material, all the realism of the techniques. Characters are lifelike, great bodybuilding of the , athletes, the sheer spirit etc. ALL vivid.Sculptures are divided into three groups: the first group is a leading group of professional players, specific depicting athletes struggling to Sprint the dynamic look; the second group was composed of professional athletes and a handful of non-professional athletes, the main highlight their tireless pursuit of tenacious will and fighting spirit; The third group to non-professional athletes as the main body, focusing on their spirit to take part in the activity. Touching scene occurs at the last contests--an old man in a wheelchair pushed by relatives participating in the story of the game is always fixed.
      In addition, some voices volunteers to pass along the water, cheering people, absorbed photographers such as image capture lens will be interspersed among the atr group sculpture.
